Lions have taken over the streets of metro Detroit in an effort to raise money for charity. The Children's Charities Coalition fundraiser, called LionTown 2012, features 50 fiberglass lion sculptures sitting nearly five feet tall and decorated and designed by local artists. The lions can be seen throughout Birmingham, Bloomfield and the metro Detroit area and we want to see your photos with them!
First, click the photo below to find your nearest LionTown sculpture. Then, take a photo of you or your family and submit it by clicking the Submission tab above by 10 p.m. on September 28.
Five random winners will be chosen to win a pair of tickets to the Liontown Charity Benefit on Oct. 16, 2012, a Detroit Lions grill cover, a Detroit Lions travel mug and a $100 Partridge Creek/12 Oaks Mall gift card. The approximate retail value of each prize package is $250. The prize is provided by the Children's Charities Coalition.
